Arbus' early work was created using35 mm cameras, but by the 1960s Arbus adopted the Rolleiflex medium format camera. Many of her photos are in black and white and they are usually of intresting things that you do not see everyday. She then commited suicide.

Annie Leibovitz mostly does portraits and some even call her Americas best portrait photographer. She started working wirth Rolloing Stone magazine in the 70's and did countless famous covers for them including John Lennon and his wife just 2 hours before his death. She also had a series of disney shots (above) that include glimpses of some of the most famous movies that disney has ever made. After working for rolling stone she began working for vanity Fair. Where she still continues photographing more and more famous portraits today.

These photos are very moving to me becasue they sho the struggle of ordinary people in forign country. The fact that these pictures changed the laws in some countries is very amazing to me. These images show the hard work that these people had to do just to earn a living.

Ansel Adams is a black and white photographer who mostly took pictures of the west. He took his photos mostly in 1942. This picture is intriguing to me because it looks perfectly balances and passes the rule of thirds becasue of how the river flows. he used a large format camera.

Lois Greenfield is a dance photographer. This photo is very intresting to me because the timing is perfect, and the position of the dancers looks like they are just standing there. It is fluid looking.

Edward Weston is a photographer who took pictures in the mid twenties to mid thirties. This photo is intriguing to me because it is a very unusual looking pepper. It looks more like a closed fist to me than a vegetable. He used a medium format camera.
